MergePoint 5200 Management Gateway Appliance

Note: Please refer to the MergePoint 5200 Installer/User Guide for detailed instructions to update the MergePoint 5200 appliance to version 4.0.

The MergePoint 5200 Appliance can be upgraded using two different methods:

• Method 1 : Upgrading using the mergepoint-fw-x.x.x.xx.bin file inside the onboard web interface. The web interface will only accept .bin upgrade files as valid MergePoint 5200 upgrade images.
• Method 2 : Upgrading using the mergepoint-dsv3upg-x.x.x.xx.img file via DSView^® 3 management software (with an installed MergePoint 5200 Plug-in). DSView 3 software will only accept .img upgrade files as valid MergePoint 5200 appliance upgrade images.
